KOA

We came to Tucson to meet up with Uncle Bobby and Aunt Jean, who are also traveling. We stayed at the KOA and it surprisingly very nice. I would have liked to be able to hang out there for a few more days, but we had to keep moving. Maybe it was the change of pace from the desert, but it was a nice change.

We went to the Biosphere 2 for an afternoon. It’s an enclosed environment that was sealed for a time back in the 90’s for nine months with nine scientists inside. There are five different environments, a desert, rainforest, ocean, mangrove, and savanna. Now it is a research facility where some of their work helps NASA. If you get a chance to visit the Biosphere, we would highly recommend it.
