White Sands National Monument

We stayed in Las Cruces at the KOA just outside of town after we left Tombstone. The reason we are here is to go to White Sands National Park. We only were able to spend a few hours here, but it was a fun few hours. When you drive in the sand on the road is compacted down so much that it looked like we were driving on an icy road, very weird. The park lets you rent plastic sleds/disks to slide down the sand dunes. Liam and Quinn had a blast sledding down the hills!
