Houston was fun. Our first day there we went to our friends Lou and Louisa’s place for their daughters birthday party. It was great to see them, hang with their awesome family and eat some Texas BBQ.

Liam’s turned ten on the 25th. We went to see Star Wars again, his birthday request. A little pizza from Whole Foods and everyone was happy.

On Sunday, we went to Space Center Houston. We went on both the tours which were both great but for very different reasons. The first tour was in the area where they train the astronauts. There was no training happening, it was Sunday, even astronauts get a day off. At the end of the tour, you go to Rocket Park where the Saturn V rocket is housed. Just like seeing The Endeavor, it was awe inspiring. The next tour was where the control room was for all the Apollo missions. Yes, “Houston, we have a problem”. Being in that room was special!

The day before we left we went to our friend’s son’s basketball game. It reminded me of my high school days, and I loved it. Then we went out for dinner and had to say goodbye until next time. It was great to see you, Lou and Louisa!
